There are times when we all need support about our health – whether that’s our emotional health and wellbeing, our physical health, about our sexual health/ our relationships or we might just need someone to talk to. On this page we give information about some of the support services and networks in Sheffield and some of the national helplines that might be of help to you. All the services listed on this page are free and all are confidential.

Sheffield Futures

Sheffield Futures supports young people to achieve their full potential in learning, employment and life to achieve a better future and support young people around employment and social inclusion, careers guidance and personal development. SAYiT

SAYiT is a Sheffield charity providing support and social opportunities for lesbian, gay, bisexual and trans young people up to the age of 25. You can find more information about the work of the charity at www.sayit.org.uk

The Corner

The Corner is Sheffield’s young people’s substance misuse service and provides support and treatment to young people under 19 in the Sheffield area who are experiencing problems with drugs and alcohol. You can find more information about this project at www.cri.org.uk/corner_sheffield.php

Interchange

Interchange is a counselling and emotional wellbeing service for young people aged 13 to 25. You can find more information about this project at www.interchangesheffield.org.uk

SRASAC (Sheffield Rape and Sexual Abuse Centre)
