‘Getting It Right!’ is a new DVD from the Centre for HIV & Sexual Health aimed at making sexual health services more accessible to those traditionally marginalised groups who often find accessing our services difficult.
The DVD gives sexual health service providers the opportunity to hear from people from a range of groups including;- young people, male and female, black African people, lesbian, gay and transgender people – on their views and feelings of what they think makes access to sexual health services easier for them.
The DVD comes with an accompanying Training Pack which enables you to deliver ‘off the shelf’ training and guidance on improving access for these groups to staff in your services, alongside the DVD.
The DVD is based on sexual health services but can be used in a variety of other settings and who want to make services more accessible to all of these groups as well as all potential clients.

- Barriers to service access – what stops us accessing services
- Welcome – making your service inviting
- Treating people with respect throughout the patient journey
- Practical tips and suggestions – ‘Getting it Right’
The cost of the DVD is £50 + £5 p&p
