The Centre for HIV & Sexual Health will be hosting a free one-hour showcase of the ‘HIV Reality Check’ training manual for health and social care staff on raising awareness of HIV related stigma and discrimination.
During this showcase participants will be given an opportunity to:
- Discuss the barriers they experience around raising the issue of HIV and HIV related stigma
- See the framework of the training package and participate in an example exercise
- Receive a free copy of the training manual and accompanying CD of training presentations and materials
The showcase will be taking place at The Centre for HIV & Sexual Health, Brincliffe House, 90 Osborne Road, Sheffield S11 9BB on Thursday 26th January 2012, from 2pm-3pm.
