We are looking for enthusiastic people to join our team of Sexual Health Champion Volunteers to support our sexual health outreach programme across Sheffield.
As a Sexual Health Champion Volunteer you will have an opportunity to:
Support community based HIV & STI testing, and to contribute towards the sexual health and well-being of a range of people including: Refugee and Asylum Seekers/Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender (LGBT) Communities/Black African Communities/Other vulnerable and marginalised groups
Take part in outreach activities supporting the National Chlamydia Screening Programme for young people aged 15-24.

Notes for potential new volunteers
People interested in joining the volunteer project will need to complete an application form and attend an interview. If selected for the project, all volunteers are required to have satisfactory clearance from the Disclosure and Barring Service and from the Occupational Health Service. Volunteers must attend all of the initial training sessions.
We are only able to consider applications from people who will be available for volunteering for a minimum of one year after completing their initial training.
