This one day course will give participants the opportunity to discuss the issues to consider when developing sexual health promotion work with Black African communities.
The training will cover:
- The national framework for sexual health promotion with Black African communities
- The cultural issues that can impact on the delivery of sexual health work with this community
- The benefits and disadvantages of developing peer led education approaches to sexual health promotion work
- Strategies for developing sexual health services for Black African people living in the UK
