The overall aim of the training is to enable staff and carers to feel confident to discuss sexual health issues with looked after young people on a 1:1 basis. Components of the training include:
- Sexual health values and attitudes
- Sex and the law
- Responding to young people’s sexual health questions/issues
- Sexual Exploitation
- This course is open to staff and carers who support looked after young people within a range of settings e.g. residential homes, foster care.
